The last residence of Saint Thomas Aquinas.
Founded in the 13th and 14th centuries by the Dominican order, its a magnificent example of monastery architecture.
It is built entirely from bricks and is a gem of Languedoc Gothic art. In the Jacobins church, you can admire the incomparable 22 leaved palm which supports the polygonal choir. In this church lies the Dominican theologian and philosopher Saint Thomas Aquinas. The cloister has a series of graceful arcatures, the chapter house, the Saint-Antonin Chapel decorated with 14th century frescos and the canteen, which now hosts exhibitions complement the whole.
